Gannicus posts first win for Powell following move to Frenchman's Lodge

Brendan Powell is off the mark from his new base at Frenchman's Lodge after Gannicus' victory at Brighton.

Powell had witnessed a couple of placed finishes by his runners namely Nellies Quest and Element Quartet since the move from Newlands, but Gannicus rallied well to win by a head at 3/1.
